Yes, it’s Dzzirtnafein again. But hey, a picture has a story of creation!
...I have always thought that it’s so strange and not so fair, that Ancient Greeks did not have a Muse who’s domain was drawing. For me drawing and painting is one of the most important forms of art, and it surely must have a Muse – so I decided to make a picture of my personal Muse, a spirit that inspire me to draw.
“I’ll let My Muse to guide my hand with the mouse”- I thought, having in my brain a vague image of a goddess in some Hellenic-look-like garment standing at sunset on a hilltop amongst the ancient ruins and holding a red rose close to her chest. Well, as the line art was still in progress (under the guidance of the Muse of course:) it became clear that My Muse is a male. “Interesting!:)”, I thought, and preceded with coloring. I tried to give him a pale skin and purple hair, but My Muse refused to look good with it, and so he refused to wear a tunic and sandals, and to stand on the hilltop amongst the ruins.
So yeah, that’s how My Muse is look like and that’s where he dwells. A bit unexpected inspirer for my colorful pictures, but even the Moon has it’s dark side:)... Oh well, he is My Muse – self-willed and beautiful... And hey, look, the rose is still here! :)

The other pictures of this drow character are: 'Drow Dancer Animated' , 'Beautiful Drow' , 'Drow At Work' , 'Drow Thief Upside down' , 'Dzzirtnafein & Wicked Vixen' , 'Watercolor Drow' , 'In the twilight. Art trade' , 'Impersonating Gods' , 'Smoking by the Moonlight' , 'On the rooftop' ,

Wow... great shading on his body, and the lines radiating from the bottom-center really help draw attention to him. This is really well-balanced, and I particularly like the rose. It's an unexpected splash of colour in what is otherwise a very dark piece. The windows are also awesome - you're really good at architecture. Awesome piece ^_^

Wow... dark and mysterious. Nice. The rose contrasts sharply with all of the black and draws the attention wonderfully to the center of the pic. Very nice. As usual, I love your artwork. Yes, dark and mysterious he is... well, at least he loves to appear so time to time2
Thank you very much, Rhia!

Why am I not surprised that your muse is good-looking male Drow? 1
Love the background. And the muse, of course. I hope he will keep inspiring you!
As for the lack of a greek muse for drawing and painting: As far as I know, those were not considered 'high' arts by the Greeks, and therefore not worthy of a muse.

3 Anya ´broom rider´ Kholodova replies: "Yes, ancient Greeks did not consider painting, drawing, sculpture as a high art, and with all respect... How stupid of them 14 Well, a good thing is that every artist could imagine his/her Muse in his/her own way2
Thank you very much for visiting me and a bunch of the loveliest comments ...But why you were not surprised that my muse is good-looking drow male is a complete mystery to me 12))"

*stares, stares, stares, stares more, stares, stares, stares, her eyeballs drop down form staring, but continues to stare*

all is black, gray and white, whit shades of blue, and that bright pink rose.... Wooow, captured for eternity by that picture. And the architecture of the BG is great!!!!!

2 Anya ´broom rider´ Kholodova replies: "Oh, I am happy that you like it that much! This picture was never planned, at least in the way it happened to be; the color scheme and the background had happened kind of spontaneous... Thank you so much, and Happy New Year!2"
