SciFi and Fantasy Art Oriental. The Scholar´s Hut. by Anya ´broom rider´ Kholodova


	These series of pictures was inspired by Chinese ink-and-watercolor drawings and oriental poetry. I made them in Painter Classic program May be it is not really a fantasy picture, but I think it has a right to be here. In dwelling, keep close to the land. In meditation, go deep to the heart. In dealing with others, be gentle and kind. (–Lao Tsu)

You did this picture, so obviously you know that; but yeah - I was just telling you to show you that you accomplished it perfectly ^_^ Love it. and the tree as well. Yay for cool piccys! Well, this is one of the main things about oriental painting - they don't have real perspective and use different shades of ink and color to create a depth of the picture: the more distant mountains are always paler then those on the front…

Yep, I in traditional paintings they use purple sometimes for the “birds and flowers” paintings, not usually for the landscapes… But purple is my favorite color and I think it looks rather nice in oriental-style landscapes
