I made this picture for my new LJ friend, an excellent graphic artist who has a great interest in Orient.
This young man is not really a man, but a Fox in his human form. Foxes (Huli jing), the mysterious magic using folk of Chinese tales, have fascinated me ever since I had read ' Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio' by Pú S?nglíng, a Chinese author of 16 century. I highly recommend this wonderful collection of captivating, colorful, weird, supernatural tales.
This Fox's nickname is Rice Powder, because he likes to dress in white. The warm breeze and the aroma of the spring bloom brought him in a romantic mood...

Ah, the shapeshifting foxes, fascinating topic, and pretty, pretty picture...yum yum...again, you did a wonderful job on giving me eyecandy, Anya As a sidenote, where comes this stuff with the "magic word" you have to give when adding a comment? Took me while to figure out the system when I wanted to comment on the "silver heart" picture (yep, it's late again. I am a nocturnal being which is constantly forced to get up earlier than I should) Anya ´broom rider´ Kholodova replies: "Hi Stormy!
