Ah, too bad we've lost all the old comments on our recent works!

This is one of my favorites; I love his flowing hair and the wisps of smoke. =)

Teh wow. The silhouette of the buildings is awesome, the glow around the moon is awesome, the craters on the moon are awesome... Awesome awesome awesome. I love his hair, too. The atmosphere in this piece is really good. Blue is always such a great colour scheme ^_^

Hello Anya, sorry i havent been in touch for so long, but iv been off line for a while with ISP problems. When i finally got back online the first place i came was Elfwood and thats when i found out about that awful crash they suffered recently. Because iv changed my ISP iv had trouble getting access to my account, but the wonderful folk here in the woods helped me out and now im back !

Thanks so much for the message you left me on my gallery following the crash. It helped sort my confusion as to where my more recent pictures had gone, and it was also nice to know there was someone out there who hadnt forgotten me. That was very, very kind of you.

Anyway, good to see you,v kept busy with your art, and nice to see this fellow again. I think people are a little uptight about seeing characters smoking in films, books and so on. Good to see not everyone has lost their sense of prospective in order to become PC! I like the way you continue to feature the moon in your pictures. I find the moon so much more beautiful that the sun, mostly because i can look at the moon. I like what you said about "smoke patterns in the moonlight" Cant say iv ever witnessed that, but i can imagine how dream like it may look. I dont smoke myself, but i do find the smoke off a cigarette rather hypnotic. Always liked the idea of a master thief spending a lot of his free time relaxing on rooftops under the cover night. Keeping their catburglar skills sharpened. lovley scene you'v created here.

Its good to be back and enjoy looking at this kind of thing.

Actually, I suspected that you must have some computer/internet connection trouble when you didn't reply on a bunch of the comments I left on your latest pictures, and then Elfwood was down for a month, and when it finally got back there was a lot of data lost and it looks like many artists just forgot about their Elfwood accounts during the crash and had switched to devianArt... Anyway, everything seems to be in a proper working order now and it's great to have you back!
Thank you for your kind words about the picture. The funny thing is that the pipe and the smoke were not planned from the beginning. I just wanted to picture him on the roof with the hair floating with the breeze toward the full Moon... Yes, I also love Moon... But you see, this fellow is happened to belong to this pesky type of characters who have a life of their own, so when the picture was almost finished (or I so thought), he said "ah, nice. can I have a pipe, please?" So I changed a position of his arm and hand and gave him a pipe. I hadn't heart to decline his wish, cause ones (long ago, though) I was a smoker and I liked to watch the smoke patterns
This picture (as well as seven other pictures, including the new one of Entreri) was lost during the crash together with all the comments, but now when they are back, this one is gathering the new comments much quicker that the rest of this unfortunate bunch. Do you plan to put your new pictures back online? You really should, they are very good, especially I liked the Drizzt picture and those of the rangers. The queue is looooong and sloooooow, I have some new stuff waiting to be moderated for a while... But hey, let's use this waiting time to create new pictures! So yeah, hope to see your lost artwork re-appeared soon and wish you a lot of artistic mood for creating new ones, Jay! "
