gee thanx, this makes me feel soooooo much better... | |
| 22 Aug 2005 | Anonymous | I just finished your tour (which actually took several days to finish) and felt the need to thank you for creating it. The first thing that caught my attention was that you spelled everything correctly and sounded intelligent, unlike most of the *ahem* uncultured "artists" on this site who create tours only to amuse themselves and their friends. The next thing I noticed was that you actually had work worth reading on your tour. Incredible! I was very impressed with your tour and so far have found nothing that even comes close in comparison to it. Thank you for creating a tour worth my time that not only had beautiful pieces of work in it, but also helped curb my craving for good literature (at least for the next few days). A. P. Reckert replies: "Thank you so much! I too value proper spelling and grammar, even in something as simple as a tour. If you're going to take the time to read something, I might as well take the time to make it worth reading, right? " | |
| 29 Sep 2005 | Chris A. Jackson | Just read Justice Served. Do love it... Nice twist. Got that writer's group together yet? Going on vacation for a few days... Ahhh, no work... Maybe I'll even write... Cheers! A. P. Reckert replies: "Thanks for the comments on "Justice." As for the writing/reading group...I'm trying to go through my school right now, which is proving to be more beuracracy than I thought. I might just can the school idea and make it a local thing at my house. We'll see, but I want it up and running by the end of October." | |
| 6 Oct 2005 | Ashley R. Wynn | Heya! I just took your link over from NaNoWriMo. Nice to see Elfwooders there. A. P. Reckert replies: "Definately! I'll go check out your gallery, and be sure to keep in touch during NaNo!" | |
| 11 Oct 2005 | Ray Arquette | Hello! Just wandered through, figured I'd stop and have a look around. *rubs nads together happily* Lots to read here... A. P. Reckert replies: "*waves* Nice to see you! If you're looking for something short to read, I suggest Justice Served, which is pretty new and therefore more of an accurate description of what my style's like today. Otherwise, so much here is a few years old at least, and thus somewhat outdated. *scurries off to see your shelf*" | |
| 31 Oct 2005 | Larry N. Morris | Hmmmm.... I wonder if that was painful when Ray rubbed his NADS together. LOL Just wanted to tell you that I've not read your new chapters yet, but soon. *winks* A. P. Reckert replies: "Hehe. Take your time, Larry, I'm sure you've got tons of other work!" | |
| 2 Nov 2005 | Chris A. Jackson | Wow! Where did all this stuff come from?? And would you look at all those stars??? Sheesh! I better catch up... Must read faster!! You rock Amanda! By the way, I saw your and Kate's picture on a DragonCon pic site... He he... You're famous! A. P. Reckert replies: "Hehe, it's okay. You're busy turning Weapon of Flesh into the rocking-est fantasy book out there. Which, by the way, I shall be using as the first book in my reading group. We're going to start in December, since a few of the people in the group are doing NaNoWriMo and have no time for anything but writing and sleeping and bleeding from the eyes. " | |
| 1 Dec 2005 | dragonette | ooh... marvelous...u hear that people? im marvelous... hehe... bow down b4 me. cheers amanda | |
| 25 Dec 2005 | L. Shanra Kuepers | *waves* 'ello! Realise that I haven't been here in ages, but I haven't forgotten! Your shelf is still on the enormous Mt. TBR. I'm sure it'd go a lot faster if I didn't add onto it all the time... ^-^;; Anyway, that's a general service anouncement. Of sorts. ^-~ What I came here to say... Happy holidays to you and yours! ^-^ May they be wonderful. A. P. Reckert replies: "Happy Holidays to you, too! It's good to hear from you again, and don't worry, I have a mountain of my own to read. *grins* Hopefully the winter break will give me a chance to make at least a small dent in the pile. Hope your holiday is warm and festive!" | |
