| 12 Aug 2006 | Sabriel Kaluin | Loading...Me again! I just got back from camp and have nothing better to do than hang out at my BFF's Elfwood page...lol. Ideas! I still think that you should do a Black Star pic with all of us. (maybe with injured Anish? lol) And it might also be fun to draw a pic with the mer-sisters from our fairy-tale rewrite. (which we really should get back to, by the way) Anyway, I'm rambling now, so I'll stop. Love your work, as always! Ariella M. Phillips replies: "YAY! KIRO!!! Glad you stopped by! LOL-now should Anish's injury be *real*, or should she just be complaining about it? And we really should keep doing that story. See you at Black Star Camp! " | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Veronica Molless | Loading...thank you so much for checking out my pic and leaving that nice comment 8D! you have a really awsome gallery. I love your potraits. Ariella M. Phillips replies: "Your art is great, no problem for the comment! Thanks for dropping by my gallery! " | |
| 20 Nov 2006 | Michelle Tolo | Loading...Hello! Lovely portraits you've got here, it's always fun to see the different personalities that can be captured in a picture The shading is really well done too. I'm more of an animal-person, but sometimes I draw portraits for my family for birthdays and Christmas and such. I must admit is it quite fun; when the picture actually looks like the person you're trying to draw... Anyway, keep up the great work! -Michelle Ariella M. Phillips replies: "Portraits are my love - it is so cool to find that someone is staring back at you from the paper. ^^ Thank you for the compliment!" | |

| 28 Jul 2009 | David N Melik | Loading...You have some good skill in realism, but I can barely tell your elves are elves. Since last century most ears were portrayed sort of like in Peter Pan or Star Trek. See also Howard David Johnson (the best realist IMO) or most fairy artists before the manga and (one that maybe influenced you) LoTR movie fads--like Cecily Mary Barker and perhaps others from Europe. I am not saying you necessarily really should do ears that way, but IMO it is most aesthetic. | |
