I am influenced by dreams, myths, fairy tales, the esoteric arts, Jungian thought, nature, Goddess energy, Wicca and Asian paintings. My favorite artists include the Symbolists, the pre-Raphaelites, Susan Seddon Boulet, Reinhard Schmid, Deborah Koff-Chapin, Kris Waldherr, Arthur Rackham, Kay Nielsen, Edmund Dulac, Marc Chagall, Tiffany, the Glasgow Four, Paul Klee, Odillon Redon, Gustav Moreau, Karla Morreira, Nemo, Tibetan Tangkhas, and ancient medieval Asian, Indian and Middle Eastern paintings.

I believe in magic and ritual and approach my paintings in a spirit of gratefulness and prayer. I am terribly idealistic and have an incessant inner desire to beautify the world in some way. I wish that people and nature could live in greater harmony with each other, and I believe that change starts with the individual, with spiritual cultivation. I am always in the process of cultivating and manifesting my dreams and living in greater harmony with my mind, body, spirit, society and environment.
