These are really nice. I love the spooky house. Too bad I missed carving a pumpkin myself this year.

:-) Jean Kogok replies: "Oh! Sorry you missed out on the pumpkin carving this year. It's always so much fun. Thanks for your comment!"

Jack looks like a bit of a bully, eyeing the little pumpkin like that.

:-) Jean Kogok replies: "Yeah, this year's Jack was a bit of a meany, I'm afraid. You just never know what kind of personality will emerge when you take knife to pumpkin..."

Wow, those are awesome, I congratulate you on your skill with a carving knife! The haunted house in particular is very cool. Alas, if I try to carve anything other than a simple face, I end up with a broken carving knife and my pumpkin a ghastly mess( of course, I usually end up breaking the knife anyway)

:-) Jean Kogok replies: "Hehe! Thanks2 This ine actually got a bit tricky. I cut some pieces too thin and needed to use a little tape to keep it together. Hopefully I'll take that to heart for next year..."

Wow that house is amazing. I've never carved a pumpkin (halloween's not much of an Aussie thing). How long did these take?

:-) Jean Kogok replies: "Thanks! I'm glad you like them2 I guess that, including hollowing out the pumpkin, they took about 1 1/2 hours total."
11 Nov 2006:-) Shelz Keast
Are these real carved pumpkins? If so the house one is pretty freaky!

:-) Jean Kogok replies: "They are real2 I'm glad the house is appropriately scary..hehe!"

Very cool. You must have some really sharp knives

:-) Jean Kogok replies: "Not too sharp. I buy those pumpkin carving knives--very serrated."
