Oh...my. Isn't she a lovely piece of work? Reminds me vaugely of my sister in law..::wink:: let's keep that one to ourselves...ok? Though, really I love it. The shading and colouring are wonderful as well as the celtic design. Just the right touches! Bravo!

First, overall, I love this - never seen anything quite like it.
As for the technical stuff though...the headpiece really stands out, but not only in the good way, as in it's just fantabulously awesome-looking (yes it is), but also in the bad way, as in it doesn't look like it's attached to her head. You changed something when you made it...the rest of the image almost has a watercolor feel, but not the headpiece (it looks totally digital). I know part of that is because it's metallic, but it just seems like you switched styles in the midst of creating this (beautiful) work of art. So...there...now you have something to think about, as much or as little as you will
Still awesome though.

The background is great, as is the composition and lighting, but the design of her armor looks far too video gamish, too sword-and-sworcery and not very Celtic at all. I'm no expert an armor, but...it just doesn't seem to gel with the more down-to-earth quality that Celtic mythology usually has.
