Frostwind, poor poor Frostwind...*grin*
I personally like the head-piece I did of her better, but this is an attempt to move away from only doing heads (yep, I really really need to work on that) and I even put in something in the background (yay me!)
The bird is a pathetic attempt at a raven (I *did* look at photos but it ended up like this anyway) and she has a tiny one marked on her cheek (it doesn't quite resemble a bird, but the drawing is rather small), along with raven feathers decorating her hair as tokens for the (thought to be) dead Nightraven.
Also, the moon looks dark like that because it's supposed to be Lunitari, washing everything with a red, hazy colour (well, just imagine it will ya?). Much like blood. Which is quite fitting really.

Maybe you should do a ghost visage of her lost love the next time you draw her, since he always seems to haunt her. her arm... yea a lil off wouldn't you say. and you know my feelings on the tattoo on her face Maria Ringsevjen replies: "Thank you! Yes, yes, most likely I'll do a new one of her and try to correct the errors and stuff. Ghostly visage? Hmm..my thought was that the raven in the sky would symbolize him, but perhaps it could be done more explicitly."
