Ina is the original wielder of Ice Brink. In her tribe, when a girl becomes a woman, she is sent off to visit the elusive forest spirit. Many girls never see the spirit, others have glimpses or visions of it. Ina actually spoke and held the spirit's hand. She was given a root from the ancient spirit tree. And in Ina's possesion, the root grew into the sword that is today.

I colored this with pencils, then used watorcolor pencils for the background. I went over with acrylic for highlights and darker areas. And then used Painter Classic for lighting and more highlights.
Yes, I know it sounds like a mess. XP

Wow, this is so pretty and soft. I really like it. As for her arms, I don't think they're chubby. The one holding the sword is not chubby at all (not even muscely), it's just not skinny, but the other arm isn't stretched out so it looks chubby by comparison. That's probably why people complained about it.

That sword of hers is dazzling so brightly my eyes are beginning to sizzle from watching it too long. How do you do such magnificent works of art? Everything you make here is so beautiful, so exquisite and bluey! Go Ice and all things Blue!!! Yay!!!

see this actually makes since. That's a HUGE sword so of course after slinging it around for a long time she's going to gain muscle not get even thinner. I like it...it's amazing^_^

I love the sword, I'm not normally so taken by weapons but I LOVE the sword...
You should draw an image of the sword, on its own... and frame it...
or something...

The thin face & chubby arms certainly look mismatched, though separate they're both fine.

Right...Marisa Arias you are very talented and you give anime a sence of depth that isn't always there. but uh...Ashley Sharier or what ever your name is (like i care) i agree with you on the fact that her face isnt the right shape for her arms but the CORRECT wording would be:
(ahem) if shes CURVY, give her more curve to her face, if shes SKINNY i think lines in the arms would be better. Ashley, parden me, but you suck.
Marisa Arias you, however do not, in any way.
