SciFi and Fantasy Art Sword & Rose by Marisa Paredes

This is the first picture in a series, from 'the countries' in my comic. I have a story behind this pic, but I lost the paper I wrote it on...when I find it and work out the page on my site, I'll include it there. I wanted to make this picture seem old...but I don't think it does. XP *Oct. 13, 2002* Well, I can't find the story, so I'll explain it here and try to remember as much as I can...'This is a fictional painting in my manga story. (set in a Romeo and Juilet type scene) The country, Granada adopted this story and painting to symbolize their past. It represents the final days of Granada's golden age, before a great war ravaged the land and humbled its people. Here, the young man comes to see his true love once more before he is called off to battle. She hands him a sword to fight his enemies and rose to remember her by.'

Its so coool I love it. please make more like this one No, it's the same one, I was just scanned it again, so I could sell prints @ Zazzle. Yep, all drawn by hand, all except the words, but I did that by hand with Painter Classic, and a tablet. I'm happy you like. ^-^
