The mad cat, one that doesn’t belong in Alice in Wonderland. This is not inspired by the story. This one is not inspired at all. This was (and in a way still is) a doodle started in front of the television. As usual I started with the eye, I most usually do. I used some of the techniques I learned at the course Illustrative Drawing, but the hatching isn’t visible now. But that’s on purpose. I liked this to be ‘black-white’. The subject in simple contrast and the background to be really busy, so that you couldn’t quite catch the picture. Background was fairly simple too, because of the standard brushes of Adobe. So in total this is a simple picture. But I like it because it represents my doodlings and abstract style.

Wow! I like this, it’s so weird and abstract and I don’t usually like absract stuff, bt this is rreally good! I also like your comment-trail idea, which I saw in the forum. I will join in when I have posted some better stuff!

:-) Cynthia ´Arthemis´ Smit replies: "MadCat has purred in my ear saying he thinks you are marvelous commenting on him so. You are welcome to share his toy mouse, as soon as he can find it again. Being a lazy ass as he is, it probably won’t be anytime soon. "

your work is so... ugly ! horrible
c’est une insulte à hécate.

:-) Cynthia ´Arthemis´ Smit replies: "You’re lucky I can translate somewhat of French. I guess you mean my art of Hecate is an insult to her image. Well, the person I made the statue for was very much satisfied with it. Not all people can be amazing at everything. I do enjoy my art, I like doing art. And if you cannot be bothered to a) speak English when criticizing me and b) put in some constructive criticism, then why should I even bother commenting? BTW, I do not see your gallery, too much a chicken to show me yours, hè? "
