"Mishandled WoodElf" by Cynthia ´Arthemis´ Smit

Guess what? I started with the eyes, as you know I have a fascination about them. This time I made a rather freaky eye, that looked like it was surgically implanted at the wrong side of his/her head. The doodle was left in my sketchbook that I found in 2006? I think it’s made in 2005 or so. Then I used Painter and Adobe to colour. In the meantime I have named him (decided it was a male) Azu. I even created a little story. He was attacked by a large and ugly troll, who wanted his beautiful eyes for himself - stupid troll – and instead of taking them both, he managed to only get one. Then poor Azu found an evil elf who agreed to give him a magical eye in exchange of the trolls head. The evil elf didn’t make a perfect job, leaving his face scarred, but then again, the magic still works. Now young Azu can go for another dangerous adventure.
