Hoothoot is a character created by the Pokémoncompany.

This is my version of Hoothoot, made of clay. I studied the build and coloring of Hoothoot by surfing by many pokémonsites on the internet. I scaled the Hoothoot so it would fit the scale 1:10. If Hoothoot was real, it would be about 70 cm tall, so mine is about 7 cm's. It's made out of polymere based clay (fimo) and I longed to make a Hoothoot for a very long time now. As I need to update the pictures of my fanquarter for two years now, so I finally will have 4 approved pictures I had a perfect excuse. I'm planning to make more pokémonfigures of fimoclay. But Hoothoot is the first, because I have an obsession for owls.

This Hoothoot is the first pokémon of a girl named Mary. She loves birdpokémon and this hoothoot is the strongest she has. It does not want to evolve though, so it stays a Hoothoot.

Note to the moderators: I hope you'll approve of this Hoothoot. I had some troubles uploading pokémon fanart before, and I hope I now found a way to make pokémon my own style. I did not copy this from an original figure, I only looked at pictures of Hoothoot for reference.

That’s a cute little moddle. Planing on doing a Noctowl?

:-) Cynthia ´Arthemis´ Smit replies: "Not yet, first I wanted to do some ’easier’ models, like the onces with a round base like hoothoot, clefairy, something like that. Thanks for commenting! "

well just a finishing and more detail work 12 cause i can see the pressure points 12 meaning where you applied pressure in order to give it’s form 2 did you get what i said? 2

:-) Cynthia ´Arthemis´ Smit replies: "Ahh I see what you mean. Well, it’s fimoclay and find it really hard to make it smooth. And some of the discoloration (at the points were two parts are melted together, like the wings) came from the baking in the oven. 1 Overal I’m still pretty satisfied with this, because it looks like it, with my own touch here and there. And it gave me muscle ache for about two weeks in my hands and wrists... (old) classical Fimo is really really hard to work with. "

I think it is very cute, and very well made! I love the little crawls and the eyes, and everything about it, it is great!

:-) Cynthia ´Arthemis´ Smit replies: "Thank you so much sweety! "
