Anime can be fantasy too u know thats how i draw and i draw realism. Some times anime can help u with realism and the other way round .

:-) Alex Mason replies: "Catch me if I'm really wrong here, but anime and realism are the same, except anime has messed up eyes, head shapes, hair, and usually boobs. And you are right. I'm just hopelessly trying to work my way away from anime eyes and such."

I know what you mean about wanting to break away from anime. I used to hate it, then became obsessed with it, and now I can't seem to draw anything else. Anyhow, your work is awesome! >.O
