Hiya. I'm 27 and a graphic design student at a private college by the name of Stevens-Henager. I hate my Mac, I'm quite happily obsessed with story, I'm absolutely scatterbrained and I have fairly high standards in artworks. Effort is how we show our care for what we create. If you don't care enough to make the effort, why should it interest anyone else? Favorites in Manga: Fruits Basket, Naruto, Bleach, Loveless, Gravitation, Angel Sanctuary, Deathnote, and all CLAMP Favorites in Literature: ^^; Err, I can't list them all! Some basics I enjoy, then. Anne Rice, Stephen King, Shakespeare, "The Arabian Nights", "Hunchback of Notre Dame", etc., etc., etc. into just about infinity. Favorites in Games: Kingdom Hearts trilogy, most Final Fantasy, Okami, Classic Rogue, most Zelda, some Fire Emblem, Valkyrie Profile I, Riviera: The Promised Land (for GBA!), Kingdom of Loathing web, Shimlar web, Ragnarok Online web
Interests
Everything! I am completely in love with this world. All of this world, the villains and the innocent, what is weak and what is glorious. Even so, there are things that provide the lessons we need and things that don't. My beliefs on that concept are as follows:
The Ode to Joy is the greatest work ever produced by Man.
Of all the philosophers and priests, sweet, angry, and miserable Anselm best understood the loneliness inherent in humanity, the knowledge of lacking which drives us to seek each other, seek discovery and to seek God, or reject Him.
Rembrandt probably came close to reaching God on the Earth than anyone else ever has.
And nothing exists that is not Light.
Favorite Music
Forgive me, I'm one those people you hear about who only knows the stuff on the radio. As such, I must confess that my musical judgment is probably quite weak. I do have a good ear, though. I like alternative rock, J-pop, and classical and the Ode to Joy is #1 on my list of favorite artworks of any media. |
