A force stirs the temper of the desert wind.
The wind swirls the red sand.
The force appears, a mighty stallion,
Formed of the wind and sand of Sedona.
The desert ghost,
The haunt of the stories of terror and strife,
The invisible beast only seen in the sand storm
That he himself creates by his magic call.

Painting commissioned by my mom.

Amazing! I love it! The anatomy is awesome, the colors are very rich and vibrant, and the poem overhead really packs a punch.

Oh wow!!!!!! This is amazing, Ashley. The colors are so intense! I knew we'd be in for a treat when you said you were uploading another work. This is....just amazing! I got chills when I read the poem. Well done!

Wow this is really nice! It reminds me of the horse from the beginning if the horse whisperer - you know how its running through hills of sand in the dark. it could be snow actually but its still a great image! nice colours, really great!
