A single hippocampus rests rock jutting out of the ocean and weathered with age. She breathes deeply, taking in the refreshing salty air of the sea. The cool breath refreshes and relaxes her. This was the best time of year for Sabre. Though it was summer, the water still kept the air cool, just as the hippocampi liked it. Seaweed still clung to Sabre’s coat and scales from her swim that morning. It had been different than usual. Her swims and games in the water were generally laid back and completely playful with all of the other young hippocampi, but something had disturbed them all this morning. The water had felt cooler than usual. Sabre simply guessed it was the summer drawing to a close and the storms of the next season were arriving early. But as she rested her weary self on the rock, she knew that could not be for the sky was still summery bright with no clouds. Yet, somehow a shadow still seemed to spread across the expansive waters. Sabre sighed and slapped her tail into the water and thought about what the shadow could mean. She took one last deep breath of the cool summer air before pushing herself back into the water to rejoin her friends. She seemed to be throwing caution to the wind, but anything could happen when the summer breezes carried and unidentifiable shadow.

But I love the colors of the water, and the hippocampi. She's so pretty. And I do hope the little artist that copied you learned her lesson. I have enjoyed your gallery immensly...It gives my confidence a boost. Lol. My stuff pales in comparison to yours. But, it gives me something new to try. I've never done a hippocampus before. 20 Jun 2008	Holly Retta Morin	Loading... hi, Ashley I also Hate when people make rude remarks ( or in you cace, copying artwork) it makes me sick to my stomach to think that someone would do that. your work IS great and its really breath tacking, but still for someone to say that they cant come up with any ideas!? its just stupid and pointless, I think I will also block people with no Elfwood acounts. oh by the way, I show jump to! next thursday through to the 4th of july i am going to a travling comptition! hope I win!!
