This was supposed to be a gypsy- oops. I wanted the 'look over your shoulder' look so I drew it from one of my prom pictures. Well- this is what it turned into... its me in my prom dress as an elf. She is on her way through the forest to some kind of ball. I like her- originaly I was going to put alot of fireflys around to light up the area.. but I thought it would be to cluttered. Charcoal on med. weight acid free charcoal paper Touched up with computer

The forest looks very quiet and she looks very secretive like no one is supposed to find out the way to the ball and she has caught someone spying but she's not going to get upset by it. That's the story I get when I look at this anyway. Fireflies would have been a nice touch and not too crowded if they were up near the trees at the top of the pic.You should do more like this! The detail at the bottom of the trees is nice. Ashley Lasnetski replies: "HA- thanks! I really like your story cuz thats exatcly what I had in mind. (and I'm glad you could guess it from the pic!) I might be only 12 but thats one of the bast ive seen so far.I love how it looks like a real person if id had a scanner,I would totally scan a pic.if it was like this.I love the details.And how this artist made her face as if she were meschivious,and waiting for something too.I may be young and if you think im too young for this intamite of a pict.I really aprecciate this peice and I would have to say this is my favorite.
