Tag As FavoriteComment		first off: this is an EXTREME work in progress. this is sketched in watercolor pencils, however, i used the wrong paper, and watercolor won't work too well on it so i'm just going to color over it with prismas.

this is too all of you 'Deer-unicorn' loving unicorn..er...lovers. lol. this is a break from the norm for me, because i prefer the equine-unicorn over this...but vairety is the spice of life, don't you think? ah yes.

NO Comments!!! *does first comment jig* I think the unicorns are beatiful, I love that gracefull deer-like quality they have, and the colors work very nice with them I could see useing a bit of a darker outline on some of the males facial features maybe even ink so they show up better, besides that I really like it, espessially the alert almost tense pose of the male, like he has spotted me looking at them and is ready to protect his family. Keep up the wonderfull work!

I was just strolling through your gallery for ...old time’s sake? The thumbnail of this picture really caught my eye, the coloring scheme dragged me in. It hit me when I took a closer look, you used the primary colors here and they mix wonderfully (the maroon is close enough to red 10).

I also love the deer-unicorn style, my favorite is the one on the left. You really captured the beautiful grace of the creature. Well done, Ashley, this picture would make great household art.
