This is a Character of mine from a fantasy story i've been writing for over three years now...maybe longer i can't really remember.

the short story is: she's a human, gets transported to another realm, goes on an adventure with a prince, a king and a knight, ends up marrying the prince, happily ever after. lol. it's more in depth than that...but i don't want to give it away. ^_^

this is only part of a bigger compisition i've been working on for forever. it's supposed to be a book cover for my story, but i never finished it, so right now it's only her and some vaguely drawn mountains in the background *squints* i don't think you can see but they're there. lol.

one of my very first attempts at Prismacolors, especially in the flesh tone. it looks a bit too yellow to me, but then again, there's going to be golden wheat in the background so it's supposed to be rather golden. =)

Please do not use this picture. it's copyright to me. thanks.

Medium: Prismacolor Pencils

I love the distant look in her face, she seems to be quite content living in this different realm. In many stories about people going back in time or whatever, the time traveler seems to be... Very confused and only thinking about how to return. This Arianna seems to be peaceful, like she's living a dream. She's very beautiful! Excellent work here, she has a fine glow about her.

1 Ashley Reneé Versaggi replies: "content is an understatement. Arianna's dreamt about being in a magical world all her life. someone even told her she didn't belong in this one..."

1 Ashley Reneé Versaggi replies: "i'm glad i inspired you, if i can be so bold as to say that. but...just keep drawing, never stop. practice, pracitce, practice...that's all i can tell you. drawing is the greatest outlet!"
