"Lupin Transforming" by Ashley *Celesta* Versaggi

Remus J. Lupin again from J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter series.

Here we see him in both his human and transformed bodies. I really disliked how he was portrayed (in Werewolf form) in the movie of Prisoner of Azkaban. So I decided to portray him myself. I wanted himto look menacing and upright....=)

This picture was inspired by a few things...I had watched Amistad the movie, with Matthew McConaughey....just his outfit and the cape. I was also inspired by Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. It just seemed to me that Lupin taking his Wolfsbane potion was very similar to Dr. Jekyl and his search for humanity.  In the case of Lupin, he didn't want the monster out. Dr. Jekyl experimented with the monster...but in the end he didn't want the monster out either.
