| 19 Jun 2007 | John R Farley Jr | Loading...Ooh an update! There's something strange with the right (his left) side of the face, but that's probably a mistake. I like the shading on this one. It has a nice rough texture to it with some good darks. I also think you should draw that dragon again, but by himself because he's very cool-looking. :c) Asja Ilonka Keeman replies: "T think that side sued be smaller, ore something. Every one always sad yo me, "use darker pencil and you will see it will come out better" your one of them bdw, but all the people who sad that where right! And i think i will draw that dragon again, i kinda like him, first time a draw a dragon, but it came out pretty like i wanted it. Tanks for your comment." | |
| 20 Jun 2007 | Alex Marsh | Loading...Wow...just...wow. The shading here is fantastic, and his expression is great. I also really like the dragon, it looks like almost a chinese serpent-dragon instead of the traditional fire-belching lizard. The sword could use a little work, maybe make the edges more defined so they look sharper, and as the previous commenter said, the hands are a bit small. They're normally about half the height of the head from wrist to knuckle. But still, a great picture, and good luck with his look-alike Asja Ilonka Keeman replies: "Your right about the hands and sword, im still working on that. Hand i always make them to small. don't know how but the always are, half a face he? i must remember that, thanks for your comment and advise " | |

| 20 Jul 2007 | Ramona C. Bogott | Loading...Amazing amount of detail on this one! I love that dragon - really pulls the picture together. Lovely man as well LOL Asja Ilonka Keeman replies: "Thanks, yeah the detail again glad you said it, and bdw the guy is mine !! grr *just kidding* " | |
| 4 Aug 2007 | Max kutschenreuter | Loading...I like this one, i think the hands could be a lil' bit bigger and give him a more defiend pose or something in wich more expression comes out, he now stands a bit like a: Stijve plank ^^ so try to give him a bit more pose though i think you are really good with dragons, cloths and shading 0_0 and i think if you give him more pose and bigger legs you have a very nice improvement overall very good work greetz max Asja Ilonka Keeman replies: "*luaghs* yeah indeed his just like a tree like this, no movement, well im going to draw him again. So you will see hem next time in a more movement pose. Him well his legs? i didn't drew his feats maybe he looks short because of that, anyway thanks " | |
| 2 Oct 2007 | Jenny Schreiber | Loading...He looks very cool and self confident, and the dragon is absolutely awesome Asja Ilonka Keeman replies: "Thank you, glad you like him. I'm busy with another pose, hmm would you like to see? i update soon i think, if my com start working with me, and not do the oposite from what i want him to do XD" | |
| 19 Oct 2007 | Kharmii | Loading...Nice work on his clothes. You are doing well with graphite. His hands may be a tad too small, but still a good piece! My art teacher always said that the hands should be as big as the face. IE: Stand in front of a mirror and hold your hand in front of your face to get proportions. Asja Ilonka Keeman replies: "I know that, but hands are always that format of i draw them. First i had them bigger but i thought now way that can't be good so dummy me started to wip it out. Wish i didn't do that. Glad you like his clothes i update a other version of him later, still trying to let my computer do what i want to. (he just don't lissen -_-'" | |
| 22 Feb 2008 | Norma Peters | Loading...Lovely work. Other visitors have mentioned the hands, so there’s no need for me to comment on them. The face is done very well indeed. He looks diginified and determined. I especially like the work on the dragon. It seems to have a personality of its own. Asja Ilonka Keeman replies: "Yeah the dragon came out pretty well, im still thinking about redrawing them both, but first i have to finish two other drawings, still lying here from December... i don’t have much time right now.. But thank you for your lovely comment " | |
| 13 Jul 2008 | Ragnhild Hoft | Loading...I like!! Great work on the clothes and great expression. I had the same "accidentaly drawing the boy I love"-experience onceX) It’s not really strange, is it... Since you’re thinking of the way his hair, eyes, lips etc looks all the time... Asja Ilonka Keeman replies: "A well, I’m over him now. But when I drew him I was thinking the whole day of him, indeed his hair, eyes, lips, every thing. (My sister got grazy of me ’cause I only talked about him) a well, thanks for the comment!" | |
