Here's another illustration from that project I did in college on Greek mythology. This is Apollo, the god of light, music, healing, poetry, and various other things. He was sometimes referred to as 'Apollo of the silver bow,' so I gave him a bow, as well as a lyre, and his two animal-symbols are the crow and the dolphin, both featured here. This was originally done in pen and ink, then colored later with colored pencils.

EEeek! Apollo! *hides* *shivers*
Lol, don 't mind me. I love this picture a lot. Of course, I loooooooooove Greek Mythology and you depict its characters very well. But having role-played too much as a Siren Queen cursed by Apollo, I find him quite frightening. Oh well. He looks, well, like a god. *drools*

Yes yes.. Amazing..As usual.. I love the colors of that sunset..And that little dolphin gives a nice touch.. But maybe not put such a dark outline around the sun ? *shrugs* you do shading with color very well.. Haha..

You've done a wonderful job in the composition of this picture. You have very skillfully brought together different icons associated with this god. The drawing itself is great, and I am most impressed by your coloring and shading of Apollo himself, the definition in his body, face and hair and the graceful fall of his toga.

Yo dog he's hot! however I think you could have added more muscle tone. His face is not quite radiant!!! thank you though I like his hair

Good work. I don't think he needs to be any more muscular than this - when you think about the classical statues they are athletic, but not like bodybuilders. I like the symbolism you've worked into the picture such as the dolphin and crow.
