	I wanted to make this character look kingly and regal, as he was the new emperor of a race of angelic, Roman-based characters from an online roleplaying game I created. I just used pencils and went for a fairly simple portrait.

In MY less than humble opinion, ...hee. Back when I had mad crushes on people like Altair (try not to wince too hard), I found this picture to be skillfully done and hot beyond belief. Now I mostly just find it skillfully done. He looks like the winged poster-child of "Valiant and Virtuous" -- which, if I remember rightly, didn't fly too wide of the mark with Dru.
