I am in love with your Akari drawings.It seems like she's listening to something we can't see offstage and if I'm not mistaken there are places she would rather be than standing in a gallery all day posing for the amusement of strangers.

Rule #1 don't get discouraged. If its what you like to do! Go for it!

Your poses seem a little static, but not bad for a beginner. Once you have the body itself down you can start twisting it around. Your purportions seem about right, but you could work on your curves like muscle and arm shape a little. Try a few 'parts' studies. Where you take a body part and sketch your own until you're happy with it. It's good practice (and about the only way to get hands right! THough it never really worked for me on feet )
A good start though. Shading I think would be a next step, that and more dynamic posing. Try some magazines for pose ideas. Ads are full of good stuff (especially underwear models, no clothes to get in the way of body form and you can dress them however you like when you're done!!)
Keep practicing!! And remember, talent cannot be learned, its inborn. SKILL on the other hand requires lots of practice! (and outside help and advice)
