The condition these are talking about it Heamatomania a fetish for blood, and thats all it is. The list of symptoms Posion reeled off are based on here-say and have no medical factual basis at all. Just because it says so on sangunairius.org does not make it so. Please remember that on a public forum people can depict Vampires anyway they like, it's their right to do so. Just like it's your right to believe you're vampires, and to call yourselves them. I suggest people of this mindset should maybe read some factual and medical texts before berating someone else unnecessarily. Charlotte I am sorry that you have been given this treatment, rest assured that you have caused no legitimate offence or error, and please keep drawing such wonderful pictures. Charlotte Anne Thomson replies: "Hi there, thanks for you support, im really glad that you like this image, its one of my favourites and i was slightly surprised by the reaction it got, but everyone has their own opinion and theyre entitled to it, all you can do is make your intentions clear. And rest assured I have no intention to stop drawing vampires, Ive just joined the UK Dracula Society and have been selling work to one of their staff and am soon to have an advert put in their monthly publication, which im really excited about! So theres nooo way im stopping painting them, i love vampires, i love the folklore, the literature and the mythology behind them and they will always be one of my main subject matter! Thankyou so much again for showing such support and concern, i really appreciate it. x Charlotte " | |
