Again, great picture, but I really wish that it wasn't "sloppy" for instance you can tell that she is very clean, but the background doesn't contrast...

Charlotte Anne Thomson replies: "You cant tell what the background is really like from this photo, its meant to be 'sloppy' as you put it, its the way it was intended, it is stained and textured and uncontrolled wheras the painting of her is quite tight."

Wow... first thing that popped into my head when I saw this was "Sexy!"... Now, you must understand that this is a very strange thing, considering I'm a straight female and don't generally go for the shiny pleatherish look... But this beauty just oozes the dangerous-sexy appeal... I've never seen anything quite like her. And I love her hair! The curls in it are almost Burton-esque, which is awesome. And I love the "messy" (that's not the right word -- flowing, perhaps?) background in contrast to her sharp, detailed figure; they really complement each other. And that burst of yellow in the corset is very eye-catching... it's a natural pair with the blues, after all. This is truly a wonderful piece of artwork.

Not many people have really 'got' this picture, its one of my personal faves though and ...i dont know whether you have this or not but with some artwork you create it because you want to and some you have a sortof vision of what it will be like and you know you have to paint it or draw it.
