Also, your line art and anatomy got a little sloppy around her back and shoulder blades. Keep up the good work. Charlotte Anne Thomson replies: "The arm is the only bit im not happy with, but she's been a good seller though, has lined my pockets quite nicely this month bless her! thanks x charlotte"

I have to kind of agree with the comment above though. Not that it's sloppy, it's really clean, but that it looks like her back is really bent, like she has my posture! Heh. I yike it though, yeah, I yike it!
| 20 Aug 2004 | M. Mann | Loading...Very good. The perception I get is that in real life, she isn't really comical. She has dark secrets and such. But, when she puts the mask on, she becomes this completely other personality. This mask allows her to forget her past. Great job on the inking. Charlotte Anne Thomson replies: "Hi there, youve pretty much summed it up there! thats entirely what i was trying to say with this piece, its a personal commentary really, but i suppose lots of people can identify with it. glad you like her x charlotte" | |

Or at least, her mask is. Very nice. I like. Charlotte Anne Thomson replies: "Thankyou for the comment, glad youve enjoyed looking at my artwork! x Charlotte"
| 29 Aug 2004 | Barbara J. Wickham | Loading...I love that she is classical and contemporary at the same time. The commentary this piece conveys has a universal truth. When one puts so much effort into aspiring to other's needs and expectations how much does one really have left for oneself? I can relate. This is such a beautiful and meaningful picture. Brava! | |
