'There was no conversation between them. He could sense the tension in the air, Lucien had become rather adept at watching his back around this woman. He knew it wouldn't be long before Lisette's calm exterior would break and she would spin around and attempt to kill him. After all that is what she was charged to do...and a demon must follow its master's orders.' Poor Lucien, he really shouldn't have shared his cloak that cold night....bad things can happen when you travel with demons. OR so I have heard.
