| 3 Jun 2003 | E.c. | Loading...This is one of my new favorites of yours aub (besides the one hanging on my wall, of course) this is incredible. Aubry Chapman replies: "Thanks E.C. So speaking of the one on your wall.......hmmm...can I have it back? LOL KIDDING! From an artist such as yourself this means a lot to me! Kiss...kiss..." | |

| 4 Jun 2003 | Missyspikes missyspikehead@hot...com> | Loading...This pic is so gorgeous i know exactly how she feels to you can see in her expression that she is thinking about someone and will wait for them Aubry Chapman replies: " Thanks Missy...Yes she is sort of doing the unfocused looking within type stare thing...:| I have felt that way before. " | |
| 4 Jun 2003 | Eggshells | Loading...Lovely! She is simply gorgeous. I love how you do the hair on your pictures, but it seems like it would take a really long time to do it. How long does it take? I love the starry black. The lace is awesome. And her face is really nice and pretty and the jewel look kewl too. Keep up the good work! Aubry Chapman replies: "Thank you...as for how long it takes...well it takes ONE sitting for me to do any piece, I get bored if I can't finish it in one sitting...so the most I think I have spent on something is about 7 to 8 hours I think.....approx. Depends on the durability of my pens as to how hard the backgrounds and black are going to be. " | |
| 5 Jun 2003 | Stefan duncan stefanduncan@car...c | Loading...You touch upon a theme I think we all have experienced sometime. Your lady has such introspection. Great movement and flow of the hair. It is interesting the suggestion of flow of loseness, tranquility in a way, then the jewel between her eyes to suggest a person that has an inner deep beyond the norm that when she loves, she really loves. The way she leans forward with an arm against her stomach shows perhaps an emotional pain that is almost physcial, and to, she's like in an embyro shape almost, a regression from life because it is too painful and too alone. Aubry Chapman replies: "Stefan, my first thought after reading what you wrote was....DANG I AM GOOD! Ok kidding, but thanks a lot for your words on this. I really do love to create people, and places and have them mean something. (Well at least to me) I never could do still lifes because there was no emotion or passion to my mind...of course I am sure there are loads of people who can look at a pear and get all weepy but I am not one of them. I really appreciate that my art can evoke feelings and thoughts in people, so your words mean a great deal to me! THANK YOU! " | |
| 5 Jun 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...I love the picture, but i also love the caption above it, did u write that urself? Its amazing. Aubry Chapman replies: "Thankyou, and yes I did write the caption as well, I spend a lot of time writing. I wrote all the little stories for the pictures in the gallery." | |
| 21 Nov 2003 | Rachel Tipaldi | Loading...Very sad. She's very pretty, kind of resigned looking. Good detail on the sleeve and the crown/headdress thingy. I like the beam of light. Reminds me of the theatre. LOL. | |
