SciFi and Fantasy Art Night Elf - Lady of the Forest by A. ´Kyubi Kitsy´ Furuichi

In my 2001-2003 artistic slump, this was one of few presentable pieces I decided to keep for my portfolio. I was inspired by watching Lord of the Rings-Fellowship of the Ring and felt compelled to take up my colored pencils and push myself to try a new style. I spent about a week drawing and coloring this piece. A majority of the drawing is done with Prismacolor colored pencils (I had just bought a 120 pencil set). The sky is colored with Copic Airbrush (a little airbrush attachment where you use the pens to color). The original picture is 14x17 on Bristol board.
