| 22 May 2007 | Caroline O. Berg | Loading...Ooo! Delicious work! Everything flows so well! Beautiful! A background, hmmm... Those ARE tricky. Here's my two cents: I think this looks like an elven perfume ad. "Tired of smelling like the city? Buy 'Coming to Fall' and smell like the sweet scent of the best season in your home forest!" As such, I'd make it into an Art Nouveau ad poster... but then, you wouldn't only be adding a background... still, I hope that helps! Audrey E Fry replies: "Wonderful idea, the art nouveau scheme that is! I might have to try that. Oh, and I love your idea of making it into an advertisement, lol " | |
| 23 May 2007 | Bianca Kaakschlief | Loading...Wow! This one is so cool and beautiful! Love the expression and the colours. It's like I could feel the wind in my own hair... Audrey E Fry replies: "thank you! I love how you described it, "the wind through my own hair", I'm happy you felt that way because I want to make sure I'm putting enough movement and emotion into my pictures. Thanks again!" | |
| 23 May 2007 | Anne Wipf | Loading...Beautiful. And so detailed: I'm affraid that a background would hide some of them?... Audrey E Fry replies: "yeah, thats what I kept thinking too, but at the sametime it just doesn't feel complete unless I add something to the background. I'll think of something. Thank you!" | |
| 24 May 2007 | J. Post (Rosesred) | Loading...Beautiful work. The white lines on her robe are so clever; they add a little emphasise while at the same time making it look playful. As for the background, I think you're spot on with the present color, a greyish tint would probably work best. Something of an architectural background might work. It's so different in shape that it would not obscure the details, but at the same time it might add an interesting balance to the picture, because of the contrast with the figure. Audrey E Fry replies: "Thank you! I do like the color of the background, but with how painterly the figure looks maybe if I add some subtle textures to it that would make it look better. Thank you again for the comment!" | |

And I don’t know if it was your intent at all, but the at the bottom of the woman’s robe and the way it falls almost give the illusion of a rose...! But the colours are beautiful and I love the way you did the leaves! Audrey E Fry replies: "I didn’t realize the whole rose thing...thats cool! Thanks" | |
