Tiina Aumala replies: " Hmm... carnivorous gorillas. You aren't talking about Homo sapiens, are you?"

Honestly, this one isn't scary at all. Quite unlike that Deep One... Oh no... The eyes, they won't leave me alone... *lost in a nightmarish recollection of the Deep One*
| 11 Jan 2004 | Pestilence | Loading...I agree with the the previous comment that it very much resembles Grendel. If you have not read the the epic: Beowulf or John Gardner's: Grendel, I strongly encourage that you do. With your apparant interest in Lovecraft, I think you will enjoy Grendel. | |

| 22 Jan 2004 | UncleAsriel | Loading...Good Gods, this is frightening! You have done an excellent job of fusing the human and simian. My only question, though, is this: How in the hell did Randolph Carter manage to disguise himself as one of these in Dream Quest? I know he was a little odd, but...gaahhhh! | |

| 24 Jun 2005 | Spider Jerusalem | Loading...I came upon your site and saw the cthulu pictures. When I saw the word "ghoul", it automatically made my mind jump to "Pickman's Model". I do believe it is one of my favorite, non-chapter stories of H.P. Lovecraft. I especially enjoy the beady eyes pulled back into the skull a tiny bit as if they were once human. It almost looks like you have the human within the beast, only warping it and distorting it to the disgusting images that Lovecraft would endow upon the mind. With such great art, I would suggest attempting a picture deisgn of one of Pickman's paintings. You seem to have the beast down. It has blown my mind, and I rarely ever comment anyone. | |
