| 28 Jun 2003 | Sheena R. Smith | Loading...Actually, I like how it just sort of fades out. Very cute sprite, she's just so tiny. Oh and, I really enjoy the expression on the Drake's face. Owen CR Pierce replies: "It might of gone further but the professor was looking kind of angry that I wasn't taking notes. First rule of college: Do not aggravate professor.I'm glad you can still make out the sprite I was afraid I'd lost her in the scan. Thanks for looking!" | |
| 28 Jun 2003 | Jace | Loading...Lol...spanish class...I know what you mean...anyway, nice job...looks like you had a bit of fun with it... Owen CR Pierce replies: "It's a great language to speak and read and listen to but it's hard to have to absorb all the different rules. Thanks, it's always fun drawing when you should be doing somethng else!" | |
| 21 Jul 2003 | Rosa Dogg Jonsdottir | Loading...Awww, he looks kinda surprised hope you finish it soon Owen CR Pierce replies: "One of these days these kids might get revisited but not on this picture. And yeah, he does look surprised, never noticed that...Thanks for commenting!" | |
| 21 Aug 2003 | Sara A. Chow | Loading...Indeed, leave this like this. The white makes it look mysterious or something very similar. Great job! Owen CR Pierce replies: "I'm glad you like it as it is because that means I can be wicked lazy and not finish it! (yeah mysterious...that's what I was aiming for...)" | |
| 3 Sep 2003 | C.J.'Maggie McClelland' Harley | Loading...Wow, subtle and powerful all in one love it Owen CR Pierce replies: "Hey you're making it sound like I know what I'm doing! But, thanks!" | |
| 19 Oct 2003 | Rachel-Jayne Hwang | Loading...Wow the blurring is awesome and you have some lovely linework there, the way you've blended makes it look soft and nice, plus the black shadow around him really helps to bring him out. Good work Owen CR Pierce replies: "Thank you very much Ms. Hwang! It was kind of rushed because, for some reason, professors of the non art teaching variety do not appreciate having their students draw during their lecture...take care and thanks for stopping!" | |
| 28 Oct 2003 | Ian D. Morris | Loading...Oooh! Big sword! Nice "shadowy outline" effect (I know there's a technical term, but - hey - I'm a writer) as well.Big swords make everything better, Shadowy outline effect is called a fade out I think, but in this case I believe the technical term is Laziness... | |
| 17 Nov 2003 | Julia Stenberg | Loading...Awesome! That big guy is really sweet.Thank you! You need to get some more stuff up in your gallery, you're very talented! | |
| 12 Dec 2003 | Natassja Linder | Loading...It's not quite 'awwww' and not quite 'meeep!' either... My first thought was that he's just FOUND the fairy/faery/fae/winged critter in his hand and now he's marvelling at its... diminutive size or something. I dunno. I'm stupid today. The armour is good, and the fact that it's so light in the lower part makes it look like there's some unseen lightsource, like a fire or another fairy (shining VERY brightly, admittedly) or something there. *steals the sword and adds to her collection of bejewelled sharp, pointed objects* Owen CR Pierce replies: "You're a very kind person, thinking up situations to cover up my laziness in drawing. Enjoy the bejewelled hacky slashy while you can, me Drake mate'll be lookin' fer it soon and I'm not going to be held responsible for any damage that ensues from the coming search...EYE!" | |
