EYE where I am... Owen CR Pierce replies: "Well whichever extremity or organ it is where you're at I am glad you stopped by! HAND or EYE!" | |
| 19 Oct 2003 | Rachel-Jayne Hwang | Loading...The brown sepia tones give it a really beautiful earthy touch, and his cloak is so detailed. I love the hooves too This is a really beautiful picture, and a beautiful idea behind it too Owen CR Pierce replies: "Thank you much, one of these days I'll get the pretty coloured version up. Gotta find a big enough scanner first though, it's about 45 cm by 70 cm. The idea was LOOSLEY based on Keltic mythology. Glad ya' liked him, take care of yourself, yeah?" | |
| 28 Oct 2003 | Ian D. Morris | Loading...The lighting on this is impeccable. I am SO bad at tonal drawing myself. What's your secret, O Master Owen? Owen CR Pierce replies: "Master Ian, I scan the picture into a photo-editing program and hit the sepia filter...I'm a fraud it seems. Take care and HAND!" | |
| 31 Oct 2003 | Ella Ranaa neoacounts@hot...com | Loading...HAND? Whats that mean? Oooo....for some odd, discombobulated reason, this picture makes me feel all toasty, as if I'm wrapped up in an electric blanket set on 10! It's a GREAT picture!!! Owen CR Pierce replies: "Heh discombobulated...I like that word! Goodgood, I didn't want him to look cold hearted like the grey scale scan of him was, so I used a sepia filter on him...warmer, nice. HAND(Have A Nice Day, spread it around please)!" | |
| 9 Nov 2003 | Burns | Loading...I like da way the antlers vanish in upper pic area. Looks great sorry, but this detail is best from my personal point of view, so i post something unimportant Antlers are hard to do right without reference right in front of you( I didn't have any) So the antlers were destined to fade out due to my own laziness...but thanks for commenting I'm glad you liked it! | |

| 12 Dec 2003 | Natassja Linder | Loading...Meh... I most sincerely THOUGHT I'd commented on this one, but so, it appears, it was not. I dunno what to say, which is a minor problem as rambling on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on *gasps for air* is not something I find particularly difficult. BUT (avast!) this picture cannot be...er...rambled about. It's so...very...MEH! *pokes dumb English vocabulary with big, pointy stick* It's cool ok? I like it very much. Where do you find the filter (almost wrote filet there) for changing colours in Photoshop? Coz I can't find it! Possibly I have some older version and it's simply not there, but... Anyhow. I've rambled on for a span of time sufficient to fill up the box. Go me... Anyhow I HAVE commented (at long last...) so there! EYE!The filter(filet, mmmm fish and chips!) is not really a feature of Photoshop, but a photo-editing program called ACDsee, I just assumed Photoshop would have it...sorry! FINALLY!!! Take care and EYE! | |
