Aurora is an aspiring writer who thinks she can draw.Hi. Update and explanation. I have recently been having trouble with a cretain person posting comments which are rude, vulgar, and completely offensive. I have been having to log on several times a day to get rid of his comments. Due to this, I am disabling outside commenting. If you have a comment or question, there is an e-mail button. Thanks. I am an eighteen-year-old Wiccan Bohemian who was born in the wrong decade, in a very badly hick town in Washington state, and wants out. I am currently attending Eastern Washington University, and enjoying my classes very much.
I write very long novels, and taught myself to draw so that I could illustrate them.
I have four cats, Madame, Numair, Lessa and Maura, and six 'Gold'fish (three are albino). My mother is a Ceramics artist, and this is how we earn a living.
I have an obsession with Tolkien, Tamora Pierce, and Garth Nix. I have what I like to call 'Culloden Madness', which pretty much means that I am way too into Scottish history. I have a Nautical Obsession, and am currently writing the fourth in a series of books about sailors. Many of my pictures are of characters from those.
-UPDATE- As of 10/10/06, I am officially 18! Adulthood! Voting! Tattooes! New computer! Go me! Anyway, that is all...

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
Well... I am, of course, a great fan of Lord of the Rings. Serenity and Firefly also make it onto my list. Anything to do with pirates is on my list of likes. I have loved Hook since I was in kindergarten.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
Too many. Far, far too many. I worship at the shrines of Tolkien and Pierce, as well as Pratchett and Brooks and Brust and... get the picture?
Favorite Music
The kind that one listens to. No, seriously, I like basically all music that I can get my hands on, save maybe rap and some country. Mostly I'm into Celtic, Folk, and Metal, though.
