A traditional (line art) and digital (free-hand color) mixed media dark fantasy image depicting a demon spider of Japanese folklore, Joro-gumo.  A beautiful courtesan by day, man-eating giant spider by night.  Originally painted for the Enchanted Visions Project's theme, "Along Came A Spider".

Gee, she looks so sweet and alluring. But then, so did my ex-wife. I won’t even mentions what she turned into at night. Again, your colors are captivating and the lines flow smoothly as though tugged by a gentle breeze.

Eep! I’ll be making appointments during the day then! lol
Does she kill men during the day too? Hmm...
Anyways... lol, just wanted to say I love this one too!
I like how she seems to be gliding along and looking back as though to see if she has captured any men.
Great job on the web and the patterns on her kimono too.

:-) Mitzi Sato Wiuff replies: "1 Thanks so much!!"
