SciFi and Fantasy Art Jungle Kitten by AV Salois


	Um. Hmmm. I was mainly trying to work on proportions with this, so I'm aware there's a million things wrong with it, but I kinda like her pose (as, um, less than wholesome as it might be), because it almost looks natural ('for a cat in heat,' as someone so graciously pointed out). Also, I like the colouring on her body, but those feet... shudder I hate those feet!

23 Nov 2002	Jolie	Loading... Okay, I'll be the pervert who first comments on this! ;P The proportions look perfect to me, but then I'm artistically challenged beyond what could be considered a joke! And I like that her tail is coming from where her tail bone would be - I think that's pretty nifty, hehe. shrug It's a nice picture, but the feet and the hair could use work... also, with the detail you usually give to faces, this one's a little below par, but I still like it. The proportions look perfect to me, and even though often I can be artistically challenged when I'm trying to make my own hands behave, I do know the rules for proportions Her head may be slightly big, but if it is it's not much--I am not sure at all if it even is! And besides, real people's proportions are flexible from the standards anyway. She could use some muscle definition in her legs and arms, and possibly across her shoulders, because they are bearing her weight and would be flexed, but it's really not a big deal, and I think the other details and the background make it less noticeable She's purrfectly beautiful AV Salois replies: "Ooh, muscle definition! I have a book about musculature, etc, but I haven't had the courage to look at it yet (it's so intimidating). I may look at it, and then try this pose, etc, again! Ta-ever-so for the comment/suggestions! "
