Piper's a character from a story of mine. She has an interesting personality, full of mischief and insolence... gotta love that. ^_^ I was trying to do the shading thing a little better so that not much of the paper was white, but I think she may just look dirty... oh well, maybe Piper needs a bath. Her left eye and mouth are pretty smudged, but I didn't think they ruined it, so I uploaded it anyway.

Oh my god.. This is not true! I´t is impossible to draw a picture like this! You´re cheating! It looks exactly like a real, living person! I´m totally amazed. Stunning!

I hate to bag on you, cuz I love your work, but you did not make that character up! that is a girl from a magazine and she is pozed like that and has on the same dress and her hair is done like that! so please next time you say that you made up a character tell the truth.

Hey, Anonymous, it's called referencing. I was going to tell you to review the artist's bio page, because she used to have this note that said all the more realistic pieces *are* realistic because they've been referenced from magazines/pictures/movies, but it looks like she didn't put it back up last time she changed her bio. And I'd like to point out that just because the drawing is referenced doesn't mean the character it personifies isn't original. Are all those RPG character people use to play online not their own, because they don't use "original" pictures? What about writers who use the images of celebrities in their heads when they're writing?

And I've seen the original picture this drawing is based off of and the expression differs quite a bit, this one suiting the character described, as well as the clothing is different and the lighting.

hi there 2...you did a great job on this....the shading does not make her look dirty at all...if you were take a photo and desaturate it the greys would be similar to what youve accomplished....I am impressed 2

your shading is great and so is her expression! Like she is determined or full of hope or something.

Amazing, she looks like she could be real, like this is really just a photo of a real person.
