Hmm. You should make the transports and the mechs the same colour to make them fit together better as parts of the same strike team. They somehow all look properly camouflaged though.
Try adding some more loose rocks and such to the ground, and possibly some plants as well.

:-) Aaron Weaver replies: "I wanted to show the Mechs slinking around the rocks. Adding extra stuff like rocks and plants could be a distraction for the viewer. Will try not to get too focused on certain parts of the picture next time."

That landscape kicks arse, and I love the color!

I like the landscaping and colour scheme, sort of surreal but that adds to the atmos - I guess that what makes a convincing alien environment picture, foreground looks a tad empty though...

Hmmm Of all your stuff I think I like this one the least...I think it's a combination of the colors and the mechs...they look a bit too....fake...But as with all things that's just my opinion.

Though all seems quiet the ool are not unprepaired. invisible the forcefield of automated defences zips and snaps like a bug trap as the approaching assault team probes for weaknessess in its outer perimiter ... ~12

...interesting reference from 'Apocalypse Now'...
Anyway, I have to say that I'm rather impressed and perhaps even a little envious of what you've done here. I wish that I could figure out how to use these computer-based art programs. My own lamentations aside, this picture very succesfully conveys the alien landscape, and the Xevar lurking through it look good, in my opinion. My congratulations!
