Was for a contest but I did not have an island element. Had to start over.

A lovely green aura, this one carries. It's a good choice of colour.

Very surreal and calming. I like!

Wouldn't the island be up front? Kind of looks like an underwater world. I really like the green glow. How in the world do you create something like that with computers?

I'm immagining this underneath the ice of io is it? one of those moons of jupiter or saturn, i forget, the one that's all ice on the surface, that could, just might, have liquid water under the ice, that just could, though we haven't as far as i know, sent anything there to find out, have life in it. of course another world in our own solar system harbouring sentient life now seems monumenatly unlikely, but i can always dream. and of course on other worlds of other solar systems so far away we may not ever know about it, that would be all but inevitable, for at least one in almost every each. the style remends me a little of some of the paperback covers back in the 70s too. i don't remember which artist painted them. i know stylisticly it wasn't k-f or any of the other's i'm more or less familiar with. anyway i don't usualy think of waterworlds being a land mammel and particularly a cat, but i really like this one. it is way beyond much of the stuff you've got up that you did earlier. those were like game settings. this is like someplace that if i could breath their liquid 'atmosphere' i could see myself being there.

i can see where it would quite fit an 'island' theme, but it does combine what i think of as the best of both real science fiction and of fantasy

Thank you for your kind words and welcome. I wanted to let you know that this one has a
realy natural look and feeling to it. Its a realy great image.

I think this and "The Tower" are by far my favorites, both because of the surrealism, and because they are more sparse. They eye really gets a chance to take in each individual form.

actually really cool....it looks really foggy....and i really envy your backgrounds and alien landscapes!
