| 22 Sep 2006 | Enamoured | Thats insane daddy, as Solomon the wise one would say.... I'm becoming quite emotional.... your stuff is... a bit good Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Praise be to Solomon the Wise and to you for your much too kind comments!" | |
| 26 Sep 2006 | Rachael A. Riley | Man, love the work in here. You've truly mastered human faces, expressions, and poses. I think the only constructive criticism I could provide is in regard to the legs. You tend to draw them a little short, so the proportion seems off when you look at the figure as a whole. I'm not sure if it's because they are a little short, or if it's just that everybody's got some serious muscle going on, but that's how it appears to me. Otherwise, though, that's some mega-awesome work. The shading, the composition, all really well-done. Keep it up, man! Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Very valid criticism. I hope that I have been able to make myself aware of the short leg issue and made some progress in my more recent work. I still find that there are many things wrong with pictures after I have posted them that I didn't even notice during the drawing.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment on my gallery!"
| 10 Oct 2006 | Audrey L. Whitham | I thought you were a pro illustrator or something. My first tme seeing your artwork. Well good luck on the highschool art teacher thing. I remember my highschool art teachers. I hope you will give more guidance than what my art teachers did for me. Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Hehe you are too kind. I am certainly no pro and currently I don't even get to do much drawing anymore. The old high school art teacher job is sort of on the back burner largely due to a low demand and apparent surplus of high school art teachers. Currently I waste my days selling Pepsi Cola to the wide eyed citizens of the world. Too bad I think I would have been a pretty good art teacher although hope is not yet abandoned!
Thanks for stopping by, sorry its been so long since I looked at the comments in my gallery!"
| 18 Dec 2006 | Jenny Schreiber | First, I want to say that I'm sorry, sorry that I can't leave all the comments I want at all your pics, cos if I would it would sounds really stupid like: great, beautiful, amazing, gorgeous, great again, and another great, beautiful (did I said that before? hmm..), magnificent, and a couple more greats (I just can't help it) love it' love it and love it... well I guess you've got the idea. So what I really want to say that I enjoyed all of your pics, those with funny and great(sorry) ideas, those without them, those with beautiful, sexy and ruthless girls, those with handsome(?! O.o) monsters, all the characters designs (I'm a big fan of character designs)Well, you are my hero! (Now I fell like one of those girls at Roachman pic )So please, make more wonderful art! Thank you! Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Your comments are most kind! I really try to focus on character design because HOT DOG! its cool stuff! Anyway I would love to find more time to do art but currently I get little done due to the demands of job and family. I suppose I should just make more time! Again, thanks for your wonderful comments and for taking the time to look through my gallery!" | |
| 2 Jan 2007 | Matthew W. Gonzales | Hey, long time no see! just checking up on you over here. Still haven't gotten the Raven tour started (not enough pics) and Im waiting on my favourite from the Delia group to post. Did I ever try to get you in on that? Arthur L. Williamson replies: "No. You didn't. What is it?
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you in sic months!"
| 20 Jan 2007 | Dong Pham | Thanks for checking out my elfwood page and dropping a compliment. YOURS is awesome! You really bring your drawings out to life. Wonderful shading and posing. Arthur L. | 5 Jul 2007 | Tommy De Coninck | Very confusing gallery. There is some great, top professional art here. But some unstable tests and starter art too. May be a good idea to put some dates in the comment. To follow your progress in skills. I really enjoyed the visit here. Very good. Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Hmmm... Well to be honest some of this stuff is from a time when I first got back into drawing, others are design sketches and some are just plain bad but hey... I figured I can throw a lot of pictures in here before the gallery is full and sometimes its nice to see process and progression. The date idea is a good one though. Thanks for the comments!" | |
| 28 Oct 2007 | Mark Andrew Goldfine | Heya Arthur, long time no see! Just returning to the woods from an extended leave, so to speak.
