| 3 May 2005 | John Pettit | Loading...Could this possibly be (due to the crash) the longest running Mod's Choice in the history of Elfwood? Starting Date of Mod's Choice: February 6, 2005 Ending Date of Mod's Choice: ??? Current Running Total of Days: 86! (2 mo. 25 days approx.) ULTIMATE MOD'S CHOICE! CONGRATS! Comment Posting Date: 05/03/05 Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Its true that this is the ULTIMATE MODS CHOICE THAT HAS NEVER KNOWN DEFEAT!... but your statistics are a little tiny bit off. Its true that it was a mods choice in february but that was only for one day. At the time of the Mighty Elfwood Crash of April '05 I was fortuante enough to have a picture in que which as we all know is STILL hanging in there! So my estimates put it at a mere 31 days or so... a mighty feat but nowhere near the insurmountable 86 days. That said, while I do appreciate the innumerable visitors to my gallery due to the crash, I lost quite a few uploads in the crash and would love to post more stuff in my gallery SO GET CRACKIN' ELFWOOD!" | |

He looks like "Father Time" who takes care of Baby New Year in the claymation movie "Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer and Baby New Year" (I think this is the name of the movie). Anyway, you did a great job on the pose and shading. Keep up the great work!! Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Thanks Valarie! I don't believe I am familiar with the ...uhm.. film that you speak of but... uhh...well... BLAST IT ALL! I've been bustted! Well, not really I have no idea what this father time chap looks like but maybe I had better go check him out to see if they stole my artwork no?"
| 24 May 2005 | Shannon Poehlman | Loading...i love the clothing details and expression on his face (i'm still working on making my faces in various positions...U_U;; ). i also really love the hair too. its all wavy and fun looking. great job with the hands also. hands are really hard to draw yet you seem to have attacked them with no problem. great job and keep up the good work! Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Thanks again Shannon! I try to keep the faces and hands at least grounded in reality. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I find that if you can do good hands and faces that it goes a long ways towards making a good drawing." | |
| 23 Jun 2005 | An artist my self | Loading...Well done on the shading did you learn that in class or did u just develope it by drawing alot and I like your style and techneeqs maybe you will have more characters or some more art work put up i have been looking at your work for a while and want to see more. from your fan Dusk. Arthur L. Williamson replies: "There will always be more stuff to put up! I have a couple items waiting for approval right now and I am always drawing more. AS for the shading, I have taken many art classes but usually find that this is the sort of thing you learn while not paying attention in art class rather than something you can be taught. Two words... DO IT! Thanks for stopping by!" | |
| 4 Jul 2005 | Vincent James Bernardo | Loading...And what's the deal between you and that Annonymous fellow!? You should just ignore/delete his comments to prevent encouraging people like him/her/it. Arthur L. Williamson replies: "I REMEMBER that guy! Actually I was having a good time responding to his moronic comments. After a while it wasn't fun anymore and he kept leaving more and more idiotic comments which DID in fact get deleted. Only the ones I still found amusing are still up." | |
| 4 Jul 2005 | Vincent James Bernardo | Loading...I was studying the picture and it seems you used two pieces of paper in this piece. One piece for the foot and one for the rest. Not to be rude, but I don't know why the mods choose this piece for the golden star. Honestly speaking, I've been around your gallery and I have seen at least three other pieces that deserves the star more than this. (Please don't hit me!) Arthur L. Williamson replies: "I was gonna hit you earlier but the urge has passed now. This is largely because your critique of this piece is right on. I didn't use two pieces of paper but I certainly didn't put the same amount of attention to the bottom as I did to the top. No excuse. Just good old fashioned laziness! To tell the truth I don't know why this piece got a mod's choice over some of the others either. I certainly wouldn't have considered it the strongest piece in my gallery. But hey, what can you do?" | |
| 20 Jul 2005 | Nelleke Pieters | Loading...sorry, I forgot to laugh at the anonymous above, who said you s*ck... *Whahaahaha, cooooooooward, I don't see you winning any mods-choices hah?!?* Always funny when people are afraid to make an account or leave an email-adres and only have guts enough to say "you s*ck"... really pathetic Arthur L. Williamson replies: "I actually had some fun with Mr. Anonymous for a while. If you look at all the comments on this picture you will see what I mean. After a while though he just couldn't take the abuse I dished out to him and he got rude and stupid. I ended up deleting a bunch of his comments that were beyond dumb. And yes, people that claim other people suck and don't leave a return email address or give any sort of reasons are exceptionally pathetic." | |

Williamson replies: "I also am scared of this picture. ( not really but I don't want you to feel like you're all alone )"
| 2 Dec 2005 | Evren W. | Loading...This is really cool! I love his expression he looks so... ahh I dunno... just cool! His clothes kick major booty too!!! I like how you got really detailed in the top, but like left it simple at the bottom, that is really awesome... I think it gives it a nice balance... beautiful shading too hehe good job! =) Arthur L. Williamson replies: "You are the very first person to praise my laziness in leaving his bottom half unfinished. If it were possible I would make pancakes and feed them to you for both Dinner AND Dessert!" | |
