Verycool work , i love the sketchy feel to it and it looks like you colored it in watercolors tho i see you mentioned you colored it in photoshop

Azadia Touka replies: "Yep Yep. Photoshop. Don't own any watercolours, sadly. The smudge tool in photoshop gives it a bit of a watercolour effect sometimes though ^.^"

Nice gallery. I'm not a huge fan of colored sketches, but I like a few of the pieces here. You draw hands extremely large in proportion to the characters' heads. I wonder.. do you use shapes and stickman-esque figures before you sketch over them? It really helps. Other than that, you have a nice style, very Sailor-Moonish. Heh.

Azadia Touka replies: "Brush up on yer anime, that ain't anything like sailormoon -.-;;As for the hands, most of these pieces are now "old" by standards and that was a phase-promblem I was having from drawing in photoshop. Only two of the current images posted are hand drawn, photoshop was taking a lot of getting used to with dimentions.As for the stick people starteds, etc, I hate that, I find it a waste of time personally, when I draw. Just because one finds it helpful doesn't mean another would. =PSeeing as you chased me around highschool for a while you should know I don't do those shape/stick frames."

*laughs at above commentor* If this is Sailor-Moonish, than I do realism...(which I seriously don't). I can't name an anime that Azadia's style *does* resemble, which is GOOD! (don't kill me please...I really did mean that in a very good way...o_O; lol). I don't draw with stick figures either...if someone told me I had to, I'd probably knaw my own fingers off first. >_<; And I can name lots of people who don't...it's a style, a personal one and that's what's important!

Anyway, I saw yer new work and yer name on the newest updates page thingie and thought I'd drop by and take a looksie. ^_^ I really like Faeore's true look! I like the raspberry (I call the red raspberry cause I've got a marker that color by that name. ^_^) against the dark green. Oh, and I think Naoko's eyes look fine! =D
