  | In the Islands of Teriat, where the story I am writing takes place, there are priests and priestess that belong to temples of each of the eight gods. These priests and priestesses are gifted with magic. In some wars in the history of the Islands, the priests and priestesses used their magic to aid in the wars. But, while they were busy with spells, they were defenseless, so the Temple Guards were used to protect them. In times of peace, the Temple Guards would protect the temples from attack by bandits and other attackers. These are the weapons used by the temple guards, with little blurbs about their use.
