A scene from my story where Kegra's sister has attempted to run away...

*

Hiding among the snowdrifts, she couldn't believe that her sister was still trying to come after her.  Taking a deep breath, she could only watch as Kegra searched the endless snow beneath the blizzard's angry howls, vainly attempting to follow her scent trail through the constantly changing winds.  What did the mighty Black One need her for anyway?  She, along with the rest of their family, had determined that Kegra wasn't worth her weight in air, but now Kegra hunted for her as earnestly as if she were Evvan or Silverfox.

Then, a moment of quiet.  The blizzard's winds paused in their rage, revealing Silverfox expectantly waiting in the distance at the door of the quiet home where Evvan had taken Kegra to live so long ago.  Now she understood why her sister appeared to be walking in circles.  That light was her beacon, just as Kegra had been hers in the North.

Very nice pic *does first comment dance* I like how the fire glows in the background but you have to look for it a bit. overall nice snow feel.

I just noticed a little orange spot on her neck. That’s weird. 19 I also just noticed (with my high level of intelligence) that there’s the silhouette of Silverfox in the firelight. Of course it took me forever to notice it (or just comment on it) now since it includes Silverfox waiting in the description. 14

:-) Michelle B. Lackey replies: "Yep, little orange thing is a decorative... well primitive hairbow. Like a horse, Hunvarians have a mane-like growth along the neck - though it’s thicker and furrier - and the tie keeps really long hair in check. As for Silverfox, she has an underground home and that’s her doorway with her waiting patiently whilst wandering, "It’s a blizzard, Kegra. Can’t your stupid sister recognize a storm?" She’d never say that aloud, of course, but she’s thinking it. 12"

I see a little orange light in the backround -scalamosh scalamosh can you do the fandango!- 15 I LIKE KITTY CATS..... <- I know your wondering why I do that, because I am an obsessive cat owner! MEOW~

:-) Michelle B. Lackey replies: "I love cats bunches! There’s a few strays that hang around our house and look at us like we’re insane. Since we stand outside and shoot water at the evil squirrels that have come to steal our birdseed, I don’t blame ’em a bit. 1"

"Ha ha! Yea I do that too, but onetime there was a cyotte giveing birth in our backyard and I didnt have the corage to squirt at it -im ashamed 4-

:-) Michelle B. Lackey replies: "Don’t blame ya there - shooting water at coyotes might not end very well. Still, they don’t your birdseed and eat your birdfeeder then sit in the tree and laugh at you... annoying little stinkers. Perhaps Kegra would eat my squirrels for me if I ask real nicely... or that coyote might... *evil grin*"

(I had a raccon in our yard the other night and it snarled at me so I whimpered and ran like jack sparrow! (SPOONS!)

:-) Michelle B. Lackey replies: "Kegra will eat it for you! *gets angry leer from Kegra* ok, maybe not..."
