Sounds to me like you've been neglecting your killing sprees lately. By the looks of it, you spent the time drawing instead. I guess I can forgive you. You're right, the guy is definately cool. Almost scary... Nya nyanya nyanya nya, you have no legs, you can't get me - OW! He bit my toe! He bit my ?/*&%^%#^ TOE! He ate my toe! It's bleeding, it's bleeding! Oh, the pain, the PAIN! Jessica ´BadCat´ Kelley replies: "I just needed the details of where it attached to the base. And bad sexyskele! Bad! Don't bite the visitors toes - they'll stop commenting!"

Bits of flesh still clinging to the skull makes it realistic, I agree, but try to show visible signs of decay on those lips.... say, a skeleton would look more convincing if its mandible and maxilla (lower and upper jaws respectively) showed teeth. 2- The eyes also deceive me, I do not see a skeleton, but rather a tribal dressed in a ceremonial mask. 3- the hair.... veto! 4- The muscle (it's called the masseter), which you drew on the face runs in the wrong direction. This muscle attaches to the lower boder of what is called the zygomatic arch, and to the angle of the mandible. You seem to confuse its fibers with those of another muscle called temporalis. 5- The orbit (commonly called "eye socket") is too prominent. 6- The helm. I'm done... do not consider this as destructive comment, you've truly put time and effort into this drawing, I am but pointing out to stuff concerning the human form and giving pointers to some anatomical errors and other structural stuff.... It's a good drawing but could've been done better. Jessica ´BadCat´ Kelley replies: "Well, I was waiting for something like this - but I must say, you have far exceeded my expectations! Congratulations! In my defense (if I may): 1) Sketching a cold, dead skull may be correct, but the aesthetic pleasure is lost. We all know skeletons have no lips, we all know good and proper skeletons don't have eyes or strut about battlefields wearing helmets and brandishing pikes... But what good is a skeleton that has no such charm? So I give it the mild impression of superimposed flesh... obviously it cannot work, but I find it visually pleasing, so I care not. 3) The hair? Tis no hair, but attachments to the fellow's headgear. I must not have rendered it well enough for the misunderstanding to occur. Bugger. 4) Hmm, I meant no muscle here, just loose strands of flesh... But, my knowledge in this error is admittedly vague, so I'll be sure to research it better next time. Thank you. 5) Artistic license... forgive me! *grin* 6) But without a helm, he might get cold... heat/warmth is lost primarily through the head and feet, is it not said? Wouldn't want the dear to catch cold! Ahem. Yes, I'm so funny, SHUT UP JESSIE! Well, personal defense aside, thank you for your pointers. I really will keep your comments and advice in mind the next time I scribble such as this."

The Veynathians are the main enemies of the Linvorians, two peoples constantly at war in a tale I'm working on; but since study is the priority over tale weaving, then it'll take this tale quite some time before making in to my Wyvern's section. Jessica ´BadCat´ Kelley replies: "Hehe, that's always the way, isn't it? Well, best of luck to you, in both your studies and your story-telling!"
