I'm sure, that after a while, Voodoo Dolls must get sick of being poked with pointy things to make someone else suffer. Here we have a classic example of one leaving home.

UPDATE: My on-the-spot explanation of this picture.
The Story... Once upon a land, in a far away time.... there was a beautiful princess. She lived in a dark palace on the edge of forever. Tales of her beauty spread about the land, and many brainless young nobles wanted to woo and marry her. Thing is, though she was very pretty of face, her heart and soul were rotten and wicked. She encouraged these groin-driven suitors, luring them to her. Then she would destroy them, keeping their souls in bottles which were placed about her room (between the soft toys and teddy bears). One young man, a rootless vagabond, came by out of curiosity... seeing through her glorious looks (beauty IS only skin deep) to her evil nature, he discovered the truth of the disappearing suitors. He snuck into her room and smashed all the bottles, setting the souls free to find peace. He escaped, but not before the vengeful princess attacked him, pulling hair out and scratching at him.... So with the hair and torn cloth left behind, she created the Voodoo Doll you see below.....

Detail isn't always necessary to have a good drawing, and you proved it! ;-) Great work, very funny! 1 Nice colouring too, I love it! Congrats

P.S.: I find this much more funny than my elf with butt on fire! 1

:-) Jessica ´BadCat´ Kelley replies: "I'm glad you like it! But, I disagree - I think your fiery elf tops this! Heh, it's still making me laugh, just thinking about it... hehehe... teeheehee... "

Girl, you've got an imagination as vivid as mine! I mean, just the concept... And then the story...
It inspired me to write a poem (I hope you won't sue me for breaking your copyright...)

Once upon another time in ages long ago
There lived a pretty princess, fair as if she were aglow
But in her heart she was not fair, no, quite the contrary
She was so wicked, evil, foul, corrupt and downright scary!

But as she was so pretty princes came from near and far
She led them by their groin and trapped their souls within a jar
For this amused the wicked princess starring in this song
She got away with it until our hero came along

The hero was a vagabond, a man without a home
From house to house, from door to door, he liked the wayside roam
Now serendipity brought this man to the princess’ door
He saw the jars and realized her game, and thought “No more!”

Our hero went into the room where jars with souls were kept
And for all the poor princes, he felt sorry and he wept
In sudden rage he smashed the bottles letting out each soul
And when the princess came into the room not one was whole

“What have you done?” she screamed and lashed out at our vagabond
He got a scar, but fled and left her with some caught hair blond
She raged for hours, throwing round her fluffy teddy bear
And then she started planning in the castle of her lair

She took his hairs and put them on a voodoo doll of cloth
She gave our hero so much pain his mouth started to froth
But even though our hero was in pain, please don’t despair
The doll got tired of it and escaped the princess’ lair!

This got a little out of hand. So long! O_o

Great pic anyway.

:-) Jessica ´BadCat´ Kelley replies: "Do you have any idea how much I adore you? You are a god among us mere mortals! That was so bloody brilliant! You are a genius! Thank you so much for that, I'm going to be collapsing into laughter all throughout the day at the mere thought of your masterful work... you rock!!"

I reeeally hate people who are better than me at drawing and poetry. That means i hate a lot of people. But this picture (along with ur others) and the above poem are the last straw- fair well im going to be a hermit!

:-) Jessica ´BadCat´ Kelley replies: "Off to be a hermit? Well, just be careful of those purple mushrooms... Thanks for the comment on my art and Simon's poem, we both appreciate it!"

Nice job. It looks wonderful and reminds me of some teachers. My teacher has a voodoo doll that she likes to poke in honor of her ex-boyfriends and then there is another who marks his student and does wierd things to it to see what happens... anyway I think its fine the way it is.

:-) Jessica ´BadCat´ Kelley replies: "... you have scary teachers... um, thanks for the comment! "

*Collapses in hysterical laughter* Aw, man, you and Simon should be some kind of comical duo for a profession. You illustrate, and he writes the stories. Insanity galore.

I think this pic is stupid. I hate when people try to be funny and there not. Lol.

:-) Jessica ´BadCat´ Kelley replies: "Heh, that's curious.... because I think the same of your comment! Except I couldn't be bothered 'laughing out loud' at it. (And sorry to be a pedant, but it's 'their', not 'there'.)"
